Hey
I started out writing screenplays in high school. I watched as many films as I could - drawing inspiration from the likes of Wim Wenders and Martin Scorsese - before shifting my focus to playwrighting. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in theater; while a student, I completed three full-length plays and a handful of one-acts. I was fortunate to take my work abroad immediately after graduating, workshopping one of my plays - Linda's Journey - at The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Most recently, I completed a directing internship at Santa Cruz Shakespeare where I assisted director Laura Gordon on a production of The Book of Will by Lauren Gunderson. My biggest influences are Arthur Miller, Anton Chekhov, and Joni Mitchell.
