Linda's Journey is a re-telling of Schubert's Winter's Journey from the perspective of Linda - a jazz singer who has performed for the past ten years at a club - and her on-stage persona: a chaotic performer known as Maria Q. The show opens on the night of the club's twentieth anniversary: Linda, who has been asked to say a few words about herself, realizes she has become a recluse with no connection to her past outside of performance. Before the show, Linda convinces Maria to leave the stage and trod into a landscape of dream and memory in an effort to reclaim her past.
